February 25th, 2025 is World Spay Day!

NAWS was founded back in 2007 with one mission in mind, to fight pet homelessness and mistreatment through the Spaying and Neutering of all cats and dogs. Since our conception in 2007, NAWS has performed tens of thousands of Spays and Neuters for both community owned pets and rescue pets.

One of The main contributors to the homelessness of pets is owners refusing to spay or neuter their pets and having unwelcome pregnancies. In just one lifetime, an unspayed female cat can produce 11,000 kittens with her off spring. That is a lot of resources taken up in the animal welfare world!

Help us celebrate and spread awareness of World Spay Day by donating to our spay/neuter fund! On average, NAWS performs over 3,000 spay or neuter surgeries per year. At around $40 per spay, there is a alot of money that gets funneled into this program.
